RRHH Digital Depending on the nature of the organization, strategic planning may happen on a yearly basis, or more frequently. Theinitial meeting shouldinclude:
• An assessment of the current business environment: What are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the organization?
• A definition (or re-definition) of the company’s mission.
• Open discussion to build a realistic plan of action.
Follow-up meetings are then used to measure the success of the plan and ensure that all objectives are being met. They are also used to figure out solutions to problems that inevitably crop up during the implementation process.
