• On-the-job: focused on training employees in techniques for their current jobs whilst remaining in the workplace. The training is usually provided by a supervisor or colleagues from other departments. This methods is generally most cost-effective because employees are actually productive and learning whilst working.
• Off-the job training:it refers to the training which takes place outside or away from the immediate work environment. This type of training gets employees away from their workplace, helping them to absorb more information as they feel more relaxed.
