Our School Community at BSB is comprised of students, their families, teachers and nonacademic staff members. Other stakeholders include public bodies, the school’s parent company and our collaboration partners.

We are looking to appoint an energetic and professional person to join a friendly and dedicated Business Support Team.

The Business Management and Community Assistant is one of the important links between curricular and non-curricular activities and build strong relationships all over the school community. He/she will be involved in developing and organising events, new ventures, promoting activities at school and be constantly in touch with our external partners with the aim of fostering the school community as a whole, reporting directly to the Senior Business Manager.

Support the Business Manager in all aspects includes generating business contacts and working closely with operations, HR, external services, admissions, communications andmarketing departments in order to ensure day to day activities run smoothly and effectively.

The PA to the School’s Business Management works closely with the Senior Business Manager, and when appropriate with other senior leaders across all campuses and facilities of BSB. Responsibilities include helping to manage daily workload, scheduling meetings, managing emails and offering administrative support, including note taking.

Administrative tasks will also include overarching admin support responsibilities (Afterschool Club registers, among others).

Key Responsibilities

School Community Support Assistant and PA to the Senior Business Manager General

Play a leading role in the promotion, development and constant improvement of the school.

Represent the school in a manner consistent with its ethos and values.

Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection and all aspects of Safeguarding children.

Actively promote the school and liaise with outside agencies as necessary, representing the academy as appropriate.

Requisitos / Requirements 

Education and Skills:

– University Degree or equivalent experience.

– Bilingual in English and Spanish (Catalan or any other language fluently spoken is a plus).

– Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

– Open mindset and prepared to lead cultural changes inside the company.

– Able to establish strong relationships with different stakeholders.

– Develop commercial relationships with external partners and contractors.

– Able to effectively organize tasks, monitor progress and pursue outstanding results.

– Able to liaise with colleagues from different departments and engage them in common projects.

– Over average digital skills, especially Microsoft Office 365 with emphasis on Power Point, Excel, Word and Teams.

– Strive for excellence in planning and executing.

– The ideal candidate will be hardworking, driven and flexible, with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Training and Experience:

– Experience (> 5 years) in business development and/or corporate communication.

– Experience and genuine interest in Digital Transformation.
